Notre Dame’s record bowl losing streak came to an abrupt halt Wednesday night with a 49-21 victory over the Hawaii Warriors in the Hawaii Bowl.  Notre Dame received a total team effort in all aspects of the game – Jimmy Clausen and the Irish offense had a record breaking performance, the Notre Dame defense harassed Hawaii into 8 sacks, and the special teams produced a kick return for a touchdown for the first time in six seasons.

The win snaps the bowl losing streak and sends this team into this ever so pivotal off-season with some momentum.  Check out the blog for some game updates and check back here for some commentary.
