But this time next year, DeShone Kizer and Blake Barnett will be added to the mix.

there is one fly in the ointment. George Whitfield is trying to become a national guru and is shilling for Manziel. Young George may try to whisper in Golson’s ear if the Fall goes as well as we think it might.

Zaire is nice, he’s no gimmee!!

Nice post, I thought I was the only one thinking the same thing about Whitfield.

Two great athletes! I wish them both well…and my expectations for this season are very high.

ALLEN PINKETT. Resident of Howard Hall in 1985, his senior year. (my Freshman year, for 10-days) Great guy. You look at him and listen to him and you realize: THIS IS WHAT ND-FOOTALL IS ALL ABOUT. Well, not ALL about, since he was one of Gerry’s kids (Faust, early-’80′s) and they generally stunk on the field. But it’s 28-years later. And this man Pinkett is contributing to broadcasting, not as Shannon Sharp, who talks like he has a mouthful of marbles, but as ALLEN PINKETT, who is an eminently presentable communicator. I’M PROUD TO BE ND’89.

Malik Zaire has a lot of ability, a better thrower than advertised.

Hearken back to 2010, when Crist went down, only Tommy Rees was avaialable.

Were the unmentionable to happen, we would not be without a nice backup.

    And Deshone Kizer arrives soon………

This program is so very far advanced from 2010…………….

some kind of foundation has been built.
