Notre Dame Basketball Highlights: ACC Tourney Semifinal Win!!
Notre Dame is headed to their second ACC Tournament Championship in the three years after last night’s surprisingly easy win over Florida State at the Barclays Center. Relive all of the highlights below with play by play from the one and only Jack Nolan.
Florida State knew Notre Dame was on a roll when it wore gold so as the higher seed they came out in their own gold jerseys. The color of their jerseys was not enough to slow down the late season momentum the Irish built wearing gold though. The green clad Irish had a bit of the Luck of the Irish on their side as they knocked down three pointer after three pointer to coast to victory over the higher seeded Seminoles.
Don’t let the four point margin of victory fool you either. This game was not close for the vast majority of it. Some uncharacteristically poor free throw shooting in the final minute allowed the Seminoles to make the final score look much closer than it was.
Notre Dame gets Duke in the title game tonight. Their showdown with the Dukies tips off at 9:00 PM at Barclays again with ESPN on the coverage.
