We are all well and totally screwed if they don't bail our asses out.

The CBO now admits it will cost close to 2 trillion dollars over the next 10 years- not the 900 billion that was somehow mis-estimated prior to it's "passage" through the Reconciliation Loophole. We simply cannot afford it. Ignorant supporters who claim that this number doesn't mean anything should have their voting privileges revoked.

The "death panels" are already at early work changing screening guidelines throughout medicine (less frequent pap smears, mammograms, prostate PSA tests, chest xrays, etc., etc.). There is a study to support any view...they are simply ignoring the well-done studies that were previously relied on by the medical community before the government had to start paying for things. After the next election will come the rationing to older cancer patients, etc.. This is coming, trust me.

The mandate is unbelievable. To penalize someone for NOT doing something (buying insurance) is unconstitutional. But I know for sure we have 4 bat-shit crazy justices already who will think it is just fine. We have to hope that Roberts and Kennedy don't see it as beyond their purview to rule on.
