The Pacers have constantly fouled and fouled hard throughout this series. It was their goal, because they clearly felt it was the only way to slow down James/Wade. THAT's why there's a disparity in free throws, and not because of some absurd bias on the part of the officials.
And while we're on that subject, I was fascinated by the favorable officiating that Indiana got on Sunday in their home arena. So were the announcers, even showing a barrage of replays of non-calls against Indiana while Miami was shooting.
They wanted to try to get Wade and James to respond emotionally and get in their heads by acting the way they have - which has been disgusting. Instead, they got their payback from two of the role-players. And they deserved it.
