Hundreds of Mexicans dead and two US agents dead by guns sold for the DOJ, and multiple Congressional hearings, but it took a Congressional call for Eric Holder to resign for NBC News to mention Fast & Furious for the first time on the air since the scandal broke 18 months ago.
It is like I said before, when I debated politics with some liberal friends recently: I was struck not so much by how we disagreed on politics, but by how we seemed to be basing our opinions on different sets of facts. They had never heard some of the news stories that were core to my political opinions.
This is a primary reason why there is so much hatred and disdain between the right and left. In order to hold a liberal political opinion with conservative facts, or to hold a conservative opinion with liberal facts, a person would have to be either evil (and thus hated) or stupid (and thus disdained by the other side).
