None of it was right. I think you are correct to point out the hypocrisy of the banks in this story. The guy in the article deserves no sympathy, but neither do the banks, or the other groups you didn't mention who received unfair help. And notice that both Bush and Obama had a hand in it (admittedly, Obama's role was bigger, but i would suspect that if the roles were reversed, Bush would have followed a similar tack...at least wrt the TARP loans).. It might start to occur to both sides that big money seems to get what it wants from either party.
