him to withhold information from Congress because he is its co-equal in power. However, the 'Fast and Furious' investigation to my knowledge, only concerned the Justice Department and Attorney General Holder. The president has said he didn't know anything about 'Fast and Furious' so if that were true, he'd have no grounds for asserting executive privilege, which applies to presidential communications only.

Now he owns the thing so to speak so the question is why did he exert the power.
