What I found interesting about this particular edition of UM player's run in with the law is that the police & judge are pushing forward with the case. This would have NEVER happened in the past. It sounds like Hoke's boys have burned up their goodwill with the local constabulary and judiciary.
The case itself is very mild by UM standards & won't lead to anything more than stadium stair runs for the players involved, but the precedent is quite a break from the past.
