A 5th ranked team is considered elite most of the time. If an 11-1 Oklahoma or 11-1 Florida State or dare I say, a 11-1 Alabama team ends up in the 5th position, we'll never hear the end of it.

Kind of reminds me of when Rocket Ismail played for Notre Dame
