My sense is that most posters, appreciating that we all sin and fail at times, are unwilling to cut Paterno any slack (1) because of the magnitude of his poor judgment inn handling Sandusky's exploitation of vulnerable children, and (2) because even at the end and post mortum, he's never memorialized how bad he dicked up. |
