I believe that, especially for the young members of the board, there's incredible pressure being brought by their friends, family and fellow alums to do something. I'm sure the board members filing this appeal believe the NCAA acted unfairly, but if everybody they knew wasn't beating on them, I doubt they'd be doing this.

this is a problem of a culture, not of a couple of individuals.
