dome-2-13-07.jpgWelcome to the second edition of “Spanning the Dome.” I probably should have noted yesterday that the title for this series was inspired by Collin Cowherd’s “Spanning the Globe” which he does on his daily radio show. Good stuff. No way Pete Carroll goes to the Chargers though. If he makes the jump back to the NFL, it’ll be w/ total control which means no GM. If you consider the fact that Schottenheimer was ousted b/c of bickering w/ the GM over who to choose for DC, then I would imagine that Pete will want to stay as far away as possible from the Lighting Bolts. Whoever snares that position will be walking into a gold mine next year.
