Charlie Weis was the Sunday conversation on SportsCenter tonight. The interview is a pretty good look into the job Weis thinks he’s done and how he sees himself. I’m interested to hear everyone’s comments after watching this.

29-21 is a somber reality check.

this guy has more guts than you think he has. people attack him daily on blogs all over the internet. do some research before you think you have all the facts, this guy has a family, success and he’s a ND coach. I guess i can understand the flack that comes with the job. but its mind numbing to think how manhy people don’t want us back on top.

I like a guy advocating facts.
Well, how about Eric Hansen’s perspective – a man tracking CW from the beginning and I quote:
“Wins, not words, will define Weis”

Fact is, nobody likes national accountability in a high profile job. Do some research before you point the finger.

Fact is, it’s no lie everyone rips all his interviews, quotes apart. Not every ND coach before him put himself out ther like that. This guy has some gonads and doesn’t care what people think: this is how irish fans should be. If you think this sounds arrogant then talk to a USC fan or a Ohio State fan.

As to real facts: History has demonstrated the ND head football coaching job has nothing to do with your distorted version of having “some gonads and doesn’t care what people think.” ND hires football coaches to win football games as a matter of fact.
