Thoughts and Prayers go out to the Wade Family

Over the weekend, we received some sad news. The mother of junior to be outside linebacker Kallen Wade passed away after a bout with cancer. Wade was not at practice on Monday and was accompanied back to Cincinnati with fellow junior Chris Stewart.

Kallen will return to Notre Dame tomorrow before heading back to Cincinnati on Thursday when Charlie Weis will accompany Kallen as he did with Robert Hughes when he lost his brother during last season.  Weis will then return to Notre Dame Friday for the Coaches Clinic which will take place over the weekend.

Services will take place over the weekend and defensive line coach Jappy Oliver will attend.

The thoughts and prayers of the UHND community are with Kallen and his family.
