Loading ...Notre Dame added a huge (literally) commitment this evening with the addition of Omar Hunter. As of now Scout.com only rated Hunter as a 3 star recruit, but that is a rating that is sure to change because this kid can play. Hunter is a big and talented defensive tackle who had offers from the likes of LSU, Tennessee, Florida, Ohio State, Michigan, Virginia Tech, and Florida State. That offer list reads like a Who’s Who list of top defenses in college football.
Notre Dame also won a battle with Michigan for a kid that grew up a big Michigan fan which should make this commitment that much sweeter for ND fans.
I’ll do some Googling tonight and try to get a post up with some more background info on Hunter, but for now I have an article on Hunter’s commitment on the homepage.
