Starling Officially to USC

Sorry for posting this late, got a little tied up this afternoon and couldn’t log on till now, but Jawanza Starling did indeed fax in his LOI to USC eliminating any possibility he ends up at Notre Dame this fall.

Starling would have been the icing on the cake yesterday on top of Manti Te’o, but instead we will have to face him for the next 4-5 years.  Starling is a hard hitting safety who will very likely follow in the line of excellent USC safeties.

Once Byron Moore signed with USC in the morning, I thought we had a good chance with Starling since USC signed a lot of safeties this year.  Add safety to the list of positions of need for next year’s class along with quarterback and defensive line.
