Loading ...Notre Dame will very likely pick up a commitment for 2010 this afternoon, but could also pick up one for 2009 as well. Fullback Tyler Gaffney will announce his decision on Monday after eliminating USC from consideration. He had been scheduled to visit USC this past weekend, but is now down to just Stanford and Notre Dame.
Most people have been predicting Stanford as the most likely landing spot for Gaffney, but the Notre Dame coaches have done a great job keeping the Irish in consideration. I’ve said I think Gaffney would be an outstanding fit for this offense about a hundred times in my previous posts so lets hope for a little luck in this one.
