Loading ...After watching yesterday’s defensive performance I thought we could all use a little video of Notre Dame’s lone defensive line commitment so far – Tyler Stockton – so I went searching and found this clip. Stockton is very impressive on film. He explodes off the line and is in the backfield pretty quickly. He has a very good swim move and straight up bull rush.
Considering Stockton is an early enrollment candidate, there is a chance he sees the field early next year considering our depth along the defensive line. While Scout and Rivals aren’t as high on Stockton, ESPN has him as their #2 defensive tackle prospect. Something to consider here is that last year at this time, ESPN was also a lot higher on a certain DT committed to ND than Scout and Rivals. I won’t mention his name, but I think you all know who I’m talking about.
