One of the few highlights from Saturday for me as I sat inside Notre Dame Stadium in 20 degree weather was seeing Brad Lidge honored at half-time of the game.  Lidge, as everyone knows, was flat out dominant for my Phillies as they won the World Series for the first time in 28 years last month.  The Phillies World Series runs was truly one of best sports moments I have ever experienced and like I’ve said many times that it as extra special because a Notre Dame (soon to be) alum was on the mound.

For those who don’t know, Lidge was drafted after his junior year and said during the interview below that he is working on getting his final credits online so that he can get his Notre Dame degree.  Congrats on that beautiful World Series trophy and congrats on still working to complete your Notre Dame degree.
