Notre Dame was back at practice on Sunday at Culver Academy. The Irish still aren’t in pads this early into camp, but the WatchND crew has a great video with some key plays from day two of practice to whet our appetites for football.
- They don’t have pads on yet, but WOW does Dexter Williams look FAST in the open field. Williams gets lost in the debate of Tarean Folston vs. Josh Adams, but I just can’t imagine a scenario where Williams doesn’t have a key role this fall.
- Corey Holmes looked pretty good in space on the pass from Kizer as well.
- Quenton Nelson and Mike McGlinchey looked like the stud OLs they are. No surprise there.
- Hell of a catch by Chase Claypool downfield on an under thrown pass with Cole Luke draped all over him. It’ll be interesting to see if Claypool carves out a role for himself with Alize Jones ineligible.
And with that, we’re two days into fall camp and another day closer to Notre Dame football. Just three Saturdays/Sundays to go without seeing our Fighting Irish.
