Notre Dame didn’t have the season it hoped for but will have a chance to end it on a positive note versus Rutgers in the Pinstripe Bowl. The 8-4 Irish will travel to Yankee Stadium as the vastly more talented team as Rutgers struggled this season and is in a transition period with many changes being made in [...]
Notre Dame sent its seniors off with a quality victory versus a solid BYU team at Notre Dame Stadium. The Irish did so by getting back to their identity with a physical effort championed by a dominant rushing attack and solid defense. They’ll need an identical effort to beat one of the most physical teams [...]

Last season Notre Dame rode one of the nation’s top defenses to a 12-0 regular season and a berth in the national championship game. The Irish defense was stout against the run and led by physical and experienced players Manti Te’o, Kapron Lewis-Moore, and Zeke Motta. With the Irish losing the leader of each level [...]

For the second year in a row, UHND will be participating in a countdown of the top 25 players on the Notre Dame roster. Last year was a lot of fun and this year we’ve improved the process and should have some great posts to read across all of the ND sites participating. First off, [...]
This week’s initial impressions is coming a little late. The UHND crew was in South Bend this weekend for the game and a lack of internet and some travel snafus have delayed my normal posting. With all that said, here are some thoughts on the Michigan game. It goes without saying at this point, but [...]

Here are some notes and observations from this year’s Blue/Gold game. Tai-ler Jones is going to be a great player. Jones looked as good as any wide receiver on the field yesterday and looks like he has a very, very bright future ahead of him. He’s going to need to hit the weights between now [...]

While Brian Kelly mentioned on Friday that Manti [...]

Carlo Calabrese committed to Notre Dame back in the spring so he doesn’t get talked about that much, but watching this video should get you pretty excited about what Carlo brings to this class. He’s a tough as nails linebacker who will hopefully add a little bit of attitude to the linebacking corps. This highlight [...]
