Bennett Jackson was an early committed for Charlie Weis in the spring of 2009 and remained committed to the Irish during the coaching change. Jackson made an immediate impact for the Irish in 2010 as a special teams ace and primary kick returning. Jackson won the Special Teams Player of the Year award at the 2010 Awards banquet.
