Louis Nix became an instant fan favorite for Notre Dame fans when he committed to Notre Dame even when the Irish didn’t have a head coach. Nix picked Notre Dame after the dismissal of Charlie Weis and before the hiring of Brian Kelly. Nix is expected to anchor the Notre Dame defensive line for the next few years.
