Highlights from Notre Dame’s 66-14 Drubbing of New Mexico

Notre Dame topped 60 points for the first time under the direction of Brian Kelly yesterday in a 66-14 absolute beat down of New Mexico yesterday afternoon.  The Irish utilized big play after big play on their way to one of the most lopsided wins in recent Notre Dame history.

Ian Book lead Notre Dame with five touchdown passes on the afternoon while the Irish saw Javon McKinley, Avery Davis, Braden Lenzy, and C’Bo Flemister all scored the first touchdowns of their careers as Notre Dame emptied the bench.

The Notre Dame defense chipped in with three interceptions and a touchdown of their own from Kyle Hamilton though the Irish pass rush was relatively quiet throughout the game for the second week in a row.

We’ll have much more on this one, but for now, enjoy these extended highlights.
