Chansi Stuckey / Notre Dame Wide Receivers Coach

With a four-year stint in the NFL also part of his resume, Stuckey appears ready to instill the sort of drive needed for the Irish receivers to strive for that lofty pinnacle.

During his four years on the field at Clemson from 2003 to 2006, Stuckey evolved from a quarterback into a wide receiver and finished his collegiate career with 106 receptions and five touchdowns. His 50 catches during his final year might have been higher had not a broken foot intervened.

Stuckey was then drafted by the New York Jets in 2007, where he spent that year on the injured reserve list. He closed out his NFL career with the Cleveland Browns and Arizona Cardinals over three seasons. with his 40-reception season for the Browns in 2010 representing his top campaign. During his lone season with the Cardinals in 2011, he played under former Notre Dame tight ends coach John McNulty.

Stuckey stayed out of the limelight until resurfacing again in 2019 as a graduate assistant at Clemson, followed in 2020 as the Tigers’ offensive game coordinator.

Last season, Stuckey moved on to become the wide receivers coach at Baylor. In his one season mentoring the Bears’ receivers, he made key contributions toward Tyquane Thornton and R.J. Sneed reaching career-highs in receptions, with the duo combining for 108 catches.
