Notre Dame Practice Video from Saturday – 8/16/08
Here’s some video of the running backs from today’s practice. Hard to take much out of 3 minutes of video, but it does look like our running backs are noticeably bigger this year – Armando Allen especially. Allen also looked very, very fluid in the little bit of the passing drill shown below. I really hope we see some two back sets with Hughes and Allen this year.
After watching that drill, I can see why our blitz pickup is so bad. I hope that was half speed.

I’ll second on the two back sets. I hope we see it as the main formation. We need this with the questionable o-line. I am still very worried about the o-line.
We may need two backs to protect the QB. I sure hope the offensive line starts showing some life soon.
