Notre Dame Freshman DE Isaiah Foskey Has Some Serious Length

I can hear Larry Munson mumbling in heaven right now “My God almighty…a freshman” when he sees this picture of Notre Dame freshman defensive end Isaiah Foskey.  And yes there is no doubt in my mind if Munson were still alive he would be drooling over a college freshman like I apparently am doing right now.

Anyways look at the freakish length Foskey has.  Jevon Kearse is jealous of Foskey’s wingspan.  Touchdown Jesus has nothing on Foskey.  It’s like his arms go for days and we are talking about a 6’5 drop end that could be the next big thing for the Fighting Irish.  Last week I pointed out Foskey as one of my top 5 impact freshmen, and Foskey’s Twitter profile picture only reaffirms my opinion we could be seeing a special player in the blue and gold this fall.

I know Notre Dame has the best duo of edge rushers in Julian Okwara and Khalid Kareem returning not to mention Daelin Hayes and Ade Ogundeji as their backups, but you can not NOT let Foskey loose on the likes of Georgia and Michigan this season.  At the very least he better be in field goal block coverage.
