Notre Dame Outisde Fiedorowicz’s Top 2

CJ Fiedorowicz told Bucknuts.com that Iowa and Ohio State are his top two schools at this point according to ESPN.com

ESPNU 150 Watch List tight end C.J. Fiedorowicz told affiliate Web site Bucknuts.com, “Ohio State is neck and neck with Iowa. Those are my top two.”

The big pass-catcher is holding 16 total scholarship offers from programs such as Notre Dame, Illinois, LSU, Wisconsin and Arizona.

Before anyone hits the panic button, there is still plenty of time for Notre Dame to get back at the top of his list.  Fiedorowicz will be on campus this weekend for the Blue/Gold game and should experience some perfect weather for the game.  The report also did not say that he is only considering Iowa and Ohio State at this point either so there is still a very good chance Notre Dame gets back in this race as early as this weekend with a good visit.

Speaking of this weekend, according to Tom Lemming (via the SBT) Cameron Roberson (RB), David Amerson (S), and Lo Wood (CB) will also be on campus this weekend for the Blue/Gold game on top of the list of recruits that I posted the other day.

Weather for the Blue/Gold game should be absolutely perfect this weekend so let’s hope for a little luck in landing a few commitments after the disappointing recruiting news we’ve gotten this week.

  1. im more upset that we are not on james hurst top list. hopefully all the recent commits can help the staff prioratize and get them to zero on on the big names still out there

  2. im not too worried. Tight end is one of our strengths. Plus we always recruit one of the top guys every year so we will be fine either way.

  3. These guys are young, and change their minds so often… I don’t even worry too much about this until we get closer to signing day.

  4. Irisheye62,

You may need to sit next to this young recruit at the B&G game and fill him in on Ohio State vs ND. I appreciate your experience with OSU over mine.
