Notre Dame Football Fall Camp ’15 – Day 2 & 3 Top Plays

Notre Dame was busy preparing for the upcoming season this weekend with a pair of practices. As always, WatchND has provided some terrific footage to give us an early glimpse of the Fighting Irish. Here’s highlights from the last two days of camp with some notes.

  • It’s really early, but love what we’re seeing out of Shaun Crawford.  On Day 2 he made one heck of a diving interception in 1 on 1 drills.  Watch out for him to challenge for playing time this fall.
  • Miles Boykin is a BIG BOY.  He looks physically ready to play although with all of the talent the Irish have at receiver he won’t be pressed into action.
  • Equanimeous St. Brown looks like he could be a big time receiver too.  Looks a little on the thin side right now – which makes sense as a true frosh – but you can see he’s got the makings of being a big time receiver.
  • Watch out for Torii Hunter Jr at the slot position. Amir Carlisle is back for a 5th year, but Hunter looks great out there.

  1. I say throw as much as you can at them right out of the gate and see what sticks.

Got to know who is in shape and who is not, what the learning curve is, and send a message that
the 2015 Fighting Irish are here to get after it.

Comfortable…. when you start getting comfotable in this game, is when you get beat.

Allow them to break in at comfortanle speeds (muscles, stretching, tendons, strength and speed). I am a stickler about injuries.

A great ND team to be sure.
