The 2023 Notre Dame football roster was officially released this week with the Fighting Irish kicking off fall camp. Headlined by Wake Forest transfer Sam Hartman, the Irish roster is stacked along the offensive line with potential All-Americans Joe Alt and Blake Fisher. Audric Estime will pace the Irish ground attack while the wide receiving corps is highlighted by Jayden Thomas, Tobias Merriweather, and a talented trio of freshmen.

Defensively, the Irish added several transfers to the roster in the off-season including DE Javonte Jean-Baptiste, safety Antonio Carter, and Nickelback Thomas Harper. They join a nucleus built around the veteran linebacking corps of Marist Liufau, JD Bertrand, and Jack Kiser and stud sophomore corner Benjamin Morrsion. Two consecutive strong recruiting classes has infused the defense with young talent ready to breakout in 2023 such linebacker Jaylen Sneed.
