UHND’s Recruiting Top 10 for 2010

Prospect Height Weight Speed Hometown Why He’s On the List

Anthony Barr (RB)

Los Angeles, CA (Loyola HS)

6’4″ 225 n/a Cal, USC, UCLA, Stanford, Oregon Barr is the son of former Notre Dame great Tony Brooks and is a beast at RB. He could also play LB or grow into a DE as well. Because of his ties to Notre Dame, he is a must get for the Irish in 2010.

Jake Heaps (QB)

Issaquah, WA (Skyline HS)

6’2″ 195 4.8 Everyone, but mainly Washington He was the first QB to be offered by Weis this year and we need to land an elite QB this year. He might already be a UW lean, but he is still the top QB on ND’s board at this point.

Seantrel Henderson (OT)

Saint Paul, MN (Cretin Derham HS)

6’8″ 301 n/a Everyone He is the #1 OT in the country and hails from a school which has sent many prospects to ND the last 10 years. Henderson should be the #1 recruit regardless of position on ND’s board right now.

Brandon Linder (OC)

Ft Lauderdale, FL (St. Thomas Aquinas HS)

6’5″ 275 n/a Florida schools, BC, LSU, Auburn, OSU Four star lineman who comes from the same high school as current Domers Sam Young, Dan Wenger, Ben Turk, and Jordan Cowart. With those kind of connections he is a must get.

Christian Lombard (OT)

Palatine, IL (Fremd HS)

6’5″ 280 5.4 Notre Dame Commitment We need two elite tackles in this class and this local product brings five stars and is already committed.

Chris Martin (DE)

Oakland, CA (Bishop O’Dowd HS)

6’4″ 225 n/a Notre Dame Commitment ND needs pass rushers in this class and Martin is a physical freak that will be a terror off the edge on the college level.

Denzel McCoy (DT)

Duluth, GA (Northview HS)

6’4″ 275 n/a Everyone It seems like McCoy is the #1 DT on ND’s board right now based on internet reports. Getting a DT from Georgia is hard to do and then even harder to hold onto as we found out in 2008.

Justin McCay (WR)

Shawnee Mission, KS (Bishop Miege HS)

6’3″ 200 4.5 Florida, UGA, Missouri, Oregon, Kan, KSU One of the top WR in the country and is coached by former Notre Dame great Tim Grunhard. This one was tough because there are a lot of very good WR on ND’s radar.

Sean Parker (S/CB)

Harbor City, CA (Nathaniel Narborne HS)

5’10 175 4.55 Pac 10, PSU, Minn, UGA, Colorado Considered one of the best safeties on the west coast despite not having ideal size. After losing Jawanza Starling and Byron Moore to USC on Signing Day, we need some elite safeties this year.

Reggie Wilson (DE)

Haltom City, TX (Haltom HS)

6’3″ 240 4.7 Big 12, Stanford, FSU, Arkansas Wilson is another great pass rusher that would give Notre Dame defense and element it’s been missing. Would fit in perfectly with Jon Tenuta’s style of defense.
