Notre Dame just put an end to their January bowl drought and won their 10th game of the season in thrilling fashion. We’ll have a lot on this game today and throughout the week, but for now, here is Miles Boykin’s ridiculous, one handed game winning touchdown catch and run that gave the Irish the lead with less than two minutes to go.

One of the best plays ever.Top5 highlight of the year.GO IRISH!!!!
And with that fateful catch, Kelly tacks on at least a year or two to his ND expiry date.
Congratulations.
Ok, Adams did just enough in 2nd half to draw attention. But, if He and Coney were to stay we could make a run for NC. This team just made up for the three losses. Now our veteran Book can break in Jurkovec.
Probably the best catch I’ve ever seen an ND player make. As a former receiver, catching the ball over the outside shoulder near the sideline is hard enough as it is but to do it one handed basically blind is insane! And then to break the tackles to take it to the house for the go ahead score in the last minute, wow! Good for Boykin! Gotta go down in top 10 plays in ND history!
Not only that he made the catch, but that he took it to the house after the catch. Big time play.
I automatically thought of Arnaz Battle’s catch against Michigan State back in 2002. I know it wasn’t a one-handed catch, but he broke some tackles and took it to the house in the last minute. Boykin etched his name in Notre Dame lore with that great grab.
