Highlights from Notre Dame’s 1st Cotton Bowl Practice in Dallas

Notre Dame held their first practice inside AT&T Stadium – aka Jerry World – on Monday and they shared some highlights to give us all a bit of a fix as we waiting anxiously for Saturday.  As always, it’s impossible to take anything really substantial from these clips but it was interesting to see Ian Book hitting Michael Young over the middle midway through.  Young had a tough time cracking the wide receiver rotation during the regular season but has the kind of speed that Notre Dame is going to need to pull off the upset this weekend.  There was also a ridiculous one-handed catch by Cole Kmet towards the end as well.

Four more days until some real football for us all!  Merry Christmas everyone.  Enjoy the little teaser we got today along with your Christmas feasts’ and present unwrapping.

  1. Games are won on the practice field. Kmet’s one handed grab is what will be needed by Irish to WIN the Cotton Bowl. He must have seen Kyle Rudolph win the jump ball on the Hail Mary pass on Sunday.

    1. Our receivers have been making plays like that since the Citrus Bowl. No reason I can think of that it should stop suddenly. If anything I expect a stellar performance from all of them. Don’t you’all?
