How to Watch Notre Dame Football vs. Navy: Time, TV, Stream, and Odds for Halloween at Gillette Stadium

Two weeks have passed since BYU held Notre Dame out of the end zone on the final play in Provo (even though we all know there should have been another play), and the Irish have had their only bye of the season to stew on it. They come back on Halloween at Gillette Stadium, home of the New England Patriots, as the No. 5 team in the AP poll and roughly a four-touchdown favorite over a Navy team that has lost four of its last five.

Here’s everything you need to get the game on.

Broadcast crew

Bob Wischusen has play-by-play for ABC, with Louis Riddick as the analyst and Stormy Buonantony working the sideline.

On the Notre Dame Radio Network, Tony Simeone calls the game and Mike Golic Sr. handles analysis.

Streaming without cable

This one is on ABC, so Peacock won’t carry it. If you have cable or satellite, ABC is on your local channel, and the ESPN app will stream it once you sign in with your provider.

Without cable, you’ll need a live-TV service that includes your local ABC station. Lineups vary by market, so make sure ABC is in your package before noon.

Weather

Foxborough has clear skies and a dry forecast, with the afternoon high around 53. It turns cold once the sun goes down, with temperatures falling into the upper 20s.

The stakes

This is the 99th meeting in a series Notre Dame leads 82-13-1. The Irish have won eight straight against the Midshipmen dating back to 2017, including a 49-10 win in South Bend last November.

Notre Dame is 6-1 after the 28-24 loss at BYU, which snapped a 16-game winning streak. CJ Carr threw for 261 yards in Provo, and Notre Dame came away empty after running six plays inside the BYU 19 over the last 26 seconds. After reviewing it, the Big 12 said replay officials erred in letting the game end on that final incompletion, because the clock had not actually run out.

Navy is 2-5 overall and 1-4 in the American. The Midshipmen lost 49-39 to North Texas last Saturday despite 228 rushing yards from quarterback Jackson Gutierrez, and they have given up at least 38 points in each of their last two games.

Notre Dame hosts No. 1 Miami next Saturday night at 7:30 on NBC.
