Michael Owens has been writing for UHND.com since 2016 and is the host of Here Come The Irish Podcast on YouTube which has featured former athletes such as Steve Vasturia, Kyle McAlarney, Justin Utupo, Todd Bodine, Cam McDaniel, and Mike Golic Jr. Since starting to contribute to UHND, Michael has published over 50 articles and is the author of our popular weekly Game Primers column.

Michael started watching the Irish in 2006 where Brady Quinn and Jeff Samardzija quickly became his favorite players. He went to his first game that season when the Irish took on the North Carolina Tar Heels and has been a die-hard fan ever since. Michael coaches high school baseball in Indianapolis. He has been coaching at Franklin Central High School for the past four seasons as an Assistant Varsity Baseball Coach.
